Edwige Bellier is a statistical ecologist specializing in the analysis of wildlife population dynamics and species-environment relationships across spatial and temporal scales. She is currently a researcher at INRAE (Nogent-sur-Vernisson, France), following several postdoctoral positions in the United States and Europe, including at the University of Minnesota, the University of Rhode Island, the University of Georgia, and the Arctic University of Norway.
Her research focuses on developing and applying advanced statistics and mathematical models to understand biodiversity dynamics, species interactions, and the effects of environmental change and human activities such as harvesting. More specifically, her work aims to better understand how changes in populations states affect population dynamics and species interactions in ecological systems, as well as how community structure evolves through species dynamics.
Edwige holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Aix-Marseille University.
